A frame set up for a gun case
and two fishing rod cases...this is
going to be fun.
Tied things up with zip ties.
The baggage compartment
framing finished. The floorboard
got its 3 coat of varnish today and
will go in tomorrow.
If you are curious how much weight
this platform can take...I weigh in at
200lbs and I stood in it jumping up
and down. I wanted to know if the
clamps would move any...they didn't
budge.
The floor fit nicely. It bothered
me a bit that I needed to cut the
openings seen to allow access
for the  braces. My hope was to
drill a hole and make one cut for
each  flexing the wood...it didn't
flex well enough. My plan now is
to place duct tape over the holes
as everything will be carpeted
anyway.
I used some weather striping
underneath the wood to prevent
any irritating vibrations.
