Sticking on the
Fabric Cont.
If there is one word to describe
covering it would be
TEDIOUS DETAIL....ok, so that's
two words...sue me! It certainly
takes longer than I thought it
would.
At this point it may look like I am
going to cover the sides and
then the top. Fact is, since I have
the dorsal fin I have decided to
wrap the plane in only three
pieces and then finish off the
vertical stab with one piece. I
think this is going to work out
good and leave me with one
overlap seam down the dorsal.
I found it to be time consuming in
the sense that many areas
needed to be cemented and
allowed to dry before moving
down the line. It made for a lot of
starting and stopping type
work...Patience grasshopper.
Starting to take shape. A few
more hours and I will be able to
iron and tighten.
