Header Tank
Installed
I was able to use a couple
adell clamps on the right side
yet the other side required
drilling through the vertical
plate and making spacers. I
made the spacers out of 5/8
OD Nylaflow tubing. It
provided a bit of cushion to
keep the tank from
generating rattle.
This is a shot from behind showing
a bit of a slope from right to left.
The bottom fitting that flows to the
engine is hidden here, but it is on
the left side. Good to the last
drop?...let's hope not ever.
I'm glad I waited to set the header
tank until I installed the Main gear.
If you are using the Grove mains
you will want to check where the
down spout of the header tank will
be poping out. It turns out that I will
need to put a 90 degree elbow on
it and move it away from where the
right brake line enters my gear.
