Trimmed the elevator push-rod
down an inch. This was
determined after I connected the
rod to the elevator and found
that the control stick was much
too far forward when the
elevator was neutral. Here I just
fitted the insert back in the tube
and will be drilling it out again for
riveting. The call out is for 1/8 x
1/4" stainless steel rivets, so I
had to put an order into Spruce.
After a few days the rivets came from Spruce and I was able to
finish installing the push-rod. It brought the control sticks to where
they need to be at straight and level. Mission accomplished.
