The glass used here is 3/8 bronze. The
cut is called a random  pattern cut. The
dimensions are taken and given to a
glass house that enters things into a
computer program. The random cut is
actually cut out with a CNC (Computer
Numerical Control) glass cutter. The 90
degree turn is done with 45 degree
bevels on the glass which gives an
elegant look.
You can see here with the door open
that the glass is not really as dark as it
seems. The flash had a way of making
it look real dark. Standing from the
inside gives a unique look as well.
